Bio of Pastor Wayne SmithLet me write just few words about myself. I love being a pastor. God called me to be a pastor when I was in my early 30's . My undergraduate education was at University of California and my graduate education was first in biology at State University of New York at Stonybrook and then in theology at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago. I have served churches in Portland, Oregon, the Republic of Panama and Fairfield (just outside Cincinnati), Ohio. When I am not pastoring I love to hike, backpack and garden. My wife and I have three daughters who are all out of the home.
My passion is to see the church demonstrating the kingdom of God in joyful worship, loving fellowship and creative and fruitful outreach. The church is to be Jesus in our world and to continue doing the same type of ministry He did. That is what gets me going every day.
